Watch Wizards Coach Randy Wittman Explode On The Media For An Unverified John Wall Story

Wizards coach Randy Wittman unloaded on the media Friday afternoon, channeling power agent Drew Rosenhaus by screaming “next question” several times. At issue was a column in the Washington Post written by Michael Lee, alleging that John Wall “clashed with team medical staffers” ahead of Tuesday’s game.

Wall, of course, is sidelined with multiple fractures in his wrist. A diagnosis originally called a “bad sprain” by doctors.

Wall refused to accept the initial diagnosis of a “real, real bad sprain” after X-rays immediately following the game were negative. According to a person with knowledge of the situation, Wall clashed with team medical staffers before sitting out Tuesday because he felt something more serious had caused his hand to explode. After a few days of confusion and concern, Wall got the confirmation of bone fractures that he never really wanted, leaving fans of the team with broken hearts.

Suffice it to say, Wittman didn’t agree with that report.
