The Houston Rockets’ Josh Smith isn’t the all-around athlete he used to be. Even at the height of his ultra-versatile defensive powers, though, we doubt J-Smoove could stop Markieff Morris when the Phoenix Suns forward challenges him with intentions like this.
That’s a bad, bad man. Not that we should be surprised – Morris is tied for the league lead in technical fouls with 13.
But highlights like this only count for so much, especially when the opposition boasts a player of James Harden’s caliber. The Beard furthered his burgeoning MVP case against the Suns with another masterful performance, pouring in 40 points – including 20 in the fourth quarter! – to go along with 12 rebounds and nine assists while leading the Rockets to a 127-118 victory.
