The Los Angeles Lakers were thoroughly outclassed by the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, losing in a blowout to the NBA’s unbeaten defending champs by a score of 111-77. They have now dropped 12 of their first 14 games, and have looked non-competitive in a majority of them.
It’s clear they’ve been one of the league’s punching bags to start the season. But now, it seems even fans of the opposing teams are getting in on the action.
During a break in play on Tuesday, one Warriors fan added insult to injury by taunting the Lakers bench after winning a promotional event. After making a layup, a free throw, and a three-pointer, the man celebrated by dancing around mid-court, then throat-slashing the Lakers bench.
That was quite the exuberant celebration. Did this man just win some cold, hard cash? Maybe a new car, perhaps?
Oh, never mind. He just won a free haircut from Great Clips for everyone in attendance. That seems about right. I can’t imagine what Kobe Bryant would have said about this if he were still playing.
