DeMarcus Cousins Scored 91 Points In Eric Bledsoe’s Back-To-School Celebrity Game

Before you get excited, it should probably be pointed out that calling this a “game” is a pretty big misnomer, depending of course on whether your definition of a game entails a bunch of people standing around and watching each other score points.

Nevertheless, the crowd in Birmingham this weekend got to see Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins tally an obscene amount of points during Eric Bledsoe‘s Back to School Celebrity Basketball game. “Celebrity” is another word that’s arguably being thrown around a bit too liberally here as the name recognition factor suffers a sharp decline after Bledsoe and Cousins, although the video above features a few nice dunks from the Court Kingz’ “Baby LeBron” (Jamal Rodgers), who might be the only person on the planet capable of doing a better LeBron James impression than Brandon Armstrong.

Anyway, it was all for a good cause, as Bledsoe handed out book bags filled with school supplies to hundreds of children in conjunction with the event. Oh, and he also scored 85 points of his own during the exhibition. It’s a busy time for Cousins, who’s set to attend the USA Basketball Mini-Camp that runs this week from Tuesday through Thursday in Las Vegas and who’s also in the middle of repairing a fractured relationship with Kings coach George Karl.
