In the last five years, only six times has a player scored 60 or more points in an NBA game. Five of them were Kobe Bryant. The other one? Gilbert Arenas… against Kobe Bryant. On December 17, 2006, Arenas exploded for a career-best, franchise-record and NBA season-high 60 points. He went 17-of-32 from the floor, 5-of-12 from deep and 21-of-27 from the stripe along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Forty-three of his points came after halftime, including 16 points in the five-minute overtime of the 147-141 road victory.
