December 30, 1990. Scott Skiles made NBA history by dishing out an NBA-record 30 assists during the Magic’s 155-116 victory over the Nuggets. In addition to the dimes, Skiles also managed to score 22 points, grab six boards and steal the ball twice. When you think about it, his 30 assists and 22 points make him directly responsible for at least 82 points.
What do you think? How good was Skiles? Will this record ever be broken?

whats with the turbans at the end of the clip?
one word, amazing
Dude was so annoying in NBA Jam… Amazing player though.
It’s a shame because I always envisioned Stephon Marbury beating this record after he had 10 assists in a quarter his rookie year with the T-Wolves. I guess that never really panned out.
I wonder how many of the assists were 3 point shots. Could’ve been more than 82 points.
Makes me wonder what would have happened if the Magic let Skiles run the point and they kept Webber and their draft picks
Scott Skiles was TOUGH!!!
oooh he broke his own ankles at 7.13..
And to think that Kobe was responsible for 85 points in his 81 point game..funny
Michael wants to talk about being able to score 100 points in a game, when’s the last time in today’s NBA you saw a 155-116 game?
