25 points, 13 boards, and a mean crossover into a cram on Andrew Bynum all weren’t nearly enough to beat the Lakers last night. If the Jazz are to make it a series against the Lake Show, what else can Deron Williams do? Does he need to up his scoring, maybe try to get Carlos Boozer better looks than he saw last night, or perhaps he needs to make Mehmet Okur and C.J. Miles both offensive priorities when they return to the lineup.
But on the other hand, maybe none of that matters – a 112-point output for Utah really isn’t bad. It’s the 125 that they gave up to L.A. that had Jerry Sloan talking like this series is an exercise in futility.
