Bill Hader Is Kristen Wiig’s Creepy Gay Brother In The Trailer For ‘The Skeleton Twins’

If Kristen Wiig’s post-Saturday Night Live career goal is to deliver the most depressingly pathetic characters that she can imagine, The Skeleton Twins might be her greatest achievement. Wiig plays Maggie, a wife on the verge of starting a family, who decides that her estranged gay actor twin brother, Milo, should move in with her after they both “cheat death” at the same time. Milo is played by the always wonderful Bill Hader, so there’s a good chance that The Skeleton Twins is fantastic and people will love it when it is released on September 19, as evidenced by the Screenwriting Award that it took home from the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

And while Wiig already gave us the quirky 90s song treatment in Bridesmaids with Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On,” I can’t be upset about Hader lip-syncing to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” because the 1987 No. 1 hit is one of the greatest songs of all-time, from the greatest movie ever made about a guy having sex with a mannequin that comes to life.
