Kevin Costner has traded in his imaginary baseball glove for an imaginary General Manager position with the Cleveland Browns in this trailer for Ivan Reitman’s Draft Day, which tells the story of a sports executive who thinks a little differently than others and is therefore considered a witch. Frank Langella plays the cantankerous owner of the league’s crappiest team and he demands that his employee that he hired to draft players do what the sports media tells him to do, because that’s sadly how a lot of professional sports teams seem to operate.
The screenplay was written by first-timers Scott Rothman and Rajiv Joseph, but with a story like this about a Browns GM making good decisions with a draft pick, they’re sure to have huge futures in the fantasy genre. #HOTSPROTSJOKES
