Who Is The Diabolical Villain Behind These New Hoverboard Videos From HUVr?

UPDATE: Those Convincing Hoverboard Videos Are Definitely A ‘Funny Or Die’ Hoax

Anytime that someone posts a new video on Facebook and Twitter and the content is simply too unbelievably dumb or way too good to be true, I just assume that Jimmy Kimmel is behind it. He got us with the twerking girl who set herself on fire and then he doubled down with the wolf in Sochi. For those reasons, I’m assuming that he’s the diabolical bastard behind these new YouTube videos for an actual hoverboard, as they were supposedly produced by some brilliant minds from MIT, in association with their partner Mark Cuban.

The company’s name is HUVr and you’re about to hear all about it, thanks to its claim that it will make hoverboards a reality by the end of 2014. Anyone who was a child when Back to the Future II was released knows what the hoverboard is, and I wouldn’t believe a single person who tried to tell me that he or she hasn’t dreamed of owning one since Marty McFly used one to escape Griff Tannen. Whoever is behind these terribly mean videos and HUVr itself is a gigantic jerk, and I’m equally mad at Terrell Owens, Tony Hawk, Moby and especially Christopher Lloyd for taking part in this fiendish ruse.

(However, if these hoverboards are real, I will kiss HUVr’s ass until I die if they would like to send me one. It could be like that latest Jeff Gordon Pepsi MAX ad but not a complete lie.)

Look, if I can’t trust Billy Zane to endorse a product, then I simply don’t want to live in this capitalist, consumer-driven society anymore.
