Sometimes I take my ol’ pal Matt Lieb to see movies with me. We figured why not record a review? So, that’s what the hell we did. Come for the review, stay for Matt’s pitch for an all-Swedish Chef version.

So here it is, our pod review of The Girl In The Spider’s Web, directed by Fede Alvarez, starring Claire Foy from The Crown as Lisbeth Salander, a Swedish girl from Sweden who speaks English with a Swedish accent in this version (the Russian people speak English with an English accent). The film is based on the book by David Lagercrantz, who apparently writes Steig Larsson books with the blessing of the Larsson estate now (spoiler alert, Steig Larsson died in 2004). There’s probably a few spoilers in there but honestly who cares.

Yes, this one’s for the Patreon patrons. We also have a free episode this week here if you’re some kind of deadbeat. Don’t you want to support the Patreon?? Matt needs this! You’re stealing the eczema cream from his skin! Real talk though, thanks for supporting us, guys, it means a lot.
