Jennifer Aniston recounts the horror of the time she ate poor-people food

I never quite understood the rich vein of knee-jerk Jennifer Aniston hate running through the blogomines before, but I’ll admit, this latest story is practically Paltrowian in its pedantic obnoxitude. You see, Jennifer Aniston ate McDonald’s recently, and it almost killed her because toxins. NOT ON RACHEL’S WATCH, MONSANTO!

From a thoroughly fascinating interview with Aniston and her make-up artist in New York Magazine:

Have you ever been in a situation where you had no other choice but to grab some fast food?

I’ll never forget when Justin and I were on a road trip and we were so hungry. The only thing around was McDonald’s. I think I ordered a Big Mac. Wow, my body did not react well to that! It was like putting gasoline in a purified system. I am always trying to eat organic and natural foods, so that just made my stomach turn and made me feel terrible. And I think what you put in your body, as well as stress, is reflected in the quality of your skin.

Look, rich lady, I know you think you’re special, but most of us have eaten McDonald’s before. It’s greasy, it’s full of nasty preservatives, it’s probably been sitting in a steam drawer for an hour and it’s almost certainly going to give you diarrhea. That’s just the deal: It doesn’t really matter if you’ve got “purified” system weaned on kobe calf’s milk and kale puree or if you’ve spent the last week eating Chef Boyardee in truck stop bathrooms, you just bought yourself a ticket to poo poo city. Don’t act surprised when you end up there.

“So I smoked this cigarette, and the next thing you know, my mouth tasted bad! It’s probably because my lungs have gotten so used to the ocean breeze at my private island off St. Barth’s. Rich people problems, am I right?”

Can you share any other beauty tips that you believe help keep your skin looking gorgeous?

I can never stress enough to my friends that they must do as I do … hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink lots of water, get enough sleep, exercise, and eat a clean healthy diet, whenever possible.

“I tell them over and over again like a broken record, it’s crazy! Why, it’s almost as if they don’t appreciate my unsolicited tips on how to be pretty like me.”
