Please Don’t Tell Me That Dennis Quaid Freakout Video Was A Setup For *This*

The other day, a video of “A DENNIS QUAID ON-SET MELTDOWN!!!11!!!ONE!” went viral. Quaid was just convincing enough as “angry actor guy” that people wondered if it might be real. Some blamed Jimmy Kimmel and he mentioned it in his monologue. And then today, there’s this Funny or Die video, starring Quaid on what seems to be the same set. It presupposes that when Dennis Quaid was shouting “THIS IS HORSE SH*T” and things of that nature, he was staring at actual horse poop. …Get it? It’s pretty high-level stuff, so I’ll give you a minute.

So, if I’m reading this correctly (and God knows if I am), that original, staged freak-out video was actually… a teaser for this, a lame comedy sketch about the staging of their own staging. I guess? I don’t know, you guys figure it out. If you need me I’ll be sewing my mouth to my own asshole. You know, I’m starting to think Aaron Sorkin might’ve been right about this whole internet thing.
