The Backstreet Boys Tell Their Story In ‘Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of’

As the various members of the Backstreet Boys explain in this new trailer, they were once very much on top of the world. But like all huge fads that make no sense, they fell back to reality and, in some cases, even hit rock bottom. Then, of course, years after we should have forgotten their names or at least ignored their individual appearances on Celebrity Rehab and Celebrity Wife Swap, America’s thirst for pop culture kicked back in and the Backstreet Men returned to take us on a wild cruise before they buckled the knees of 30-something women with the possibility of a huge tour.

All the while, they had the cameras rolling, because the Backstreet Boys are telling their story – or at least the last two years of their story – in the documentary, Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of, which will shake its ass into theaters and VOD on January 30. My guess is that it’s an hour-and-a-half of them arguing, celebrating, reminiscing, laughing and crying, followed by a half hour of one of them undergoing hip replacement surgery. It’ll probably be Kevin, because that dude always looked 45.
