The Good: New Dark Knight Rises Footage; The Bad: During MTV Movie Awards

If you were senile enough to watch the MTV Movie Awards last night, instead of “Game of Thrones,” you already know that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 won Best Movie. And if you didn’t watch, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 won Best Movie, because that’s how much the world hates you.

But the most talked-about moment from the ceremony, other than Jennifer Aniston taking home the trophy for Best On-Screen Dirt Bag for her role in Horrible Bosses and C-Tates LOSING to Guy from Hunger Games for Best Male Performance, was a two-minute preview of The Dark Knight Rises, the film that will inevitably lose Best Movie to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 at 2013’s MTV Movie Awards.

I’m not gonna lie: I’m terrified of Bane. Maybe it’s the Goatse gas mark or the fact that he’s a relentless, brutal killing machine, but I feel exhausted for Batman when I see clips of them fighting. Bruce Wayne (spoiler!) could really use a nice catnap (/watched original “Batman” TV series yesterday). One other purrrtinent bit of Dark Knight news was revealed over the weekend, too: the film’s running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes, meaning you can only see it eight times a day, rather than the expected nine. Drag. Watch the teaser below.
