It seemed like only yesterday that Katniss and Peeta were defeating the odds – and a bunch of other young people trying to brutally murder them – by becoming the first people to win the Hunger Games tournament as a pair. I believe that film was entitled, The Hunger Games or Ernest Goes to Dystopia. I can’t remember which one it was, but there was definitely a guy who kept saying, “Hey Vern.”
Now, the new international trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire shows us that their collective victory will be short lived, as President Coriolanus (Tee hee!) Snow is sending them back into action with a pool of other previous winners, who are all seasoned killers. I don’t know about you folks, but I’m pretty worried about them. I’d say the chances that they survive are slim to none.
Meanwhile, Vince’s recap of the Gathering of the Juggalos will also be called “Catching Fire,” but for completely different, syphilitic reasons.
