In a recent interview, the producers of Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, discussed their new movie.  Some of the revelations?  The movie’s budget:

North of $150 million.

Sweet Jesus.  I hope they get a really good director for this…

EW: Terminator fans seem to be pretty supportive of the casting of [Christian] Bale [as John Connor]. They’re a little more skeptical about McG [The "Director" they hired].
ANDERSON: People can only speak to the body of work that they’ve seen of his [including Charlie’s Angels and We Are Marshall]. Some people love it [brain injury sufferers] and some people don’t. I think one of the things that we’re certain of is, this is gonna be the next step in his career as a filmmaker. He’s bringing all of his past experience and his amazing vision.
KUBICEK: McG is a huge Terminator fan. He is as excited as we are about bringing the franchise into the future.

Hey, you know what gets me really excited? NBA basketball.  I’m a HUGE fan.  In fact, I think if I were to play, it would be not only the next step, but the defining moment of my career.  I lobbied some team owners to hire me, but most of them just fed me some crap about not being six foot seven and black.  Assholes – they just don’t understand the kind of experience and vision I bring.
