It was recently revealed in a roundabout way that Liu Kang would be returning for Mortal Kombat X. I think we all suspected he would, but they keep killing the poor guy off, so there was some doubt.
Well, a new trailer posted by Russian Maxim (don’t ask me why) confirms that Liu Kang is in the game. He’ll also be joined by fellow Shaolin Warriors, Kung Lao (the guy with the razor edged hat) and newcomer Kung Jin. They’ve apparently got around Liu Kang being dead by having bad guy Shinnok raise him from the dead for nefarious purposes. Sure, that works.
Good to see Liu Kang back, although I didn’t see any bicycle kick in that trailer. Come on, guys.
