We know the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is going to be a bit more diverse than last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity. One of Syndicate‘s main playable characters is female, and the game will even feature a transgender character, but all the inclusiveness in the world doesn’t matter if the game doesn’t play decently. Well, thankfully, we can now show you over 45 minutes of Evie Frye in action thanks to YouTuber Robert Cram. In our first clip, which you can check out above, Evie tracks a man on foot and via horse-drawn carriage, then has to infiltrate a bank.
Next up, Evie grapples her way across London, finds a sync point and defends a woman from snipers.
And finally, Evie helps out Alexander Graham Bell. Oh, and of course she comes up with the name for the telephone, because every good idea in history was made possible or thought up by a weird hooded killer.
For better or for worse, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate certainly looks like Assassin’s Creed, although Evie seems like a likable character, and the grappling hook mechanic looks fun and much-welcome.
