London’s Calling And Gang Warfare Rages In The Latest ‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’ Trailers

Well, the moment it was revealed Assassin’s Creed Syndicate would be set in Victorian London, you knew this was coming, and now the day has arrived – Ubisoft has released an Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailer set to “London Calling.” Not just any version of “London Calling,” though! A new remixed dubsteppy version! I mean, you wouldn’t want to turn the kids off with boring old grandpa rock like The Clash.

The trailer itself is good stuff. It’s got a crazy train crash, a guy in old-timey long johns throwing spin kicks, and the game’s protagonist jumping off a ton of stuff without ever losing his top hat. Honestly, it’s all a bit silly, but that’s okay. Assassin’s Creed has been needing some more fun for a while.

While we’re at it, here’s a meatier trailer detailing the gang warfare elements of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. I’m not so sure founding the biggest, most violent street gang possible is something you should necessarily aspire to, but what the hell, neither is stabbing people in the face. Also, the all-out gang war at the end of the trailer looks like some crazy, fun stuff.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate arrives on store shelves tomorrow.
