Telltale Games Is Working On A Moody-Looking Batman Title For 2016

This year saw the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, the fourth and, supposedly, last game in the Arkham series. So, the question has been, where do Batman games go from here?

Well, now we have a somewhat better idea, as a new Batman title from Telltale Games (the studio behind The Walking Dead and many other episodic adventures) was just revealed at The Game Awards 2015. The first teaser trailer, which you can check out above, doesn’t reveal a whole lot of information, but it certainly sets a moody tone. Considering the lack of color in the trailer could this game be an adaption of the critically acclaimed Batman Black and White comics? They’d certainly be a good match for Telltale’s style.

It will be interesting to see what direction this game takes. Telltale aren’t really known for their action games, so Batman probably won’t be kicking as much bad guy ass as he did in the Arkham games. Could this be the game that finally lets the Dark Knight show off his detective skills? Will Batman be facing some moral quandaries he usually doesn’t have to deal with? What do you folks think? Excited to see Telltale take on Gotham City?
