Bloodborne is a tough game, and one of the first things many players do is figure out how to unlock the leveling system to boost their health, increase their stamina, and generally just try to get something resembling an edge. Except for this guy.
YouTuber BOYvsVIDEOGAME not only didn’t level up, he didn’t use the gun and he started at level four, taking the background “Waste of Skin” as a personal challenge. Keep in mind, the gun is central to combat in this game; you use it to create openings and land far more damaging attacks.
Now, looking at his stats, he did upgrade his weapons, but there’s only so much you can ask of even the best stunt player. Which reminds me, here he is beating (one of) the game’s final bosses:
One thing to note: If the boss connects, twice, it’s game over. It’s also worth noting that this took quite a few tries to actually pull off; BOYvsVIDEOGAME has never claimed that he doesn’t die in this playthrough. Nobody’s THAT good. That said, his playlist of boss fights is something magical.
Of course, now somebody’s going to try and top this, but I wish them luck in figuring out how. Either way, this is an impressive feat of gaming which I am not going to imitate. Have you seen some of the minibosses this game throws at you? Screw that, I found a flamethrower. I’m using that on them.
