Want to know what Rise of the Tomb Raider is all about? Like, do you want to really dive deep? Well, over the past couple weeks, Square-Enix has released three Woman vs. Wild featurettes that lay out pretty much everything you could possibly want to know about Lara Croft’s latest adventure. These featurettes not only contain plenty of interesting info, but a ton of new footage, so they’re definitely worth a look. That said, they also seem a bit on the spoilery side, so proceed with caution if you want to go into Rise of the Tomb Raider 100 percent fresh.
The first episode of Woman vs. Wild, which you can check out above, provides a rough outline of the game’s storyline (you’re on the search for the secret of eternal life, naturally) and details Lara’s survival and hunting skills. The second episode, which you can watch below, is all about Lara’s impressive Rambo-esque knack for murdering the hell out of dudes.
And finally, the third episode is about, yes, raiding tombs, ruins, crypts and any other place filled with crumbling stones, cobwebs and dusty skeletons.
Dang! I’m glad to see that the tombs feature honest-to-goodness, multi-step puzzles. It really looks like this is going to be the best Tomb Raider yet. Rise of the Tomb Raider hits shelves November 10.
