Andy Serkis Confirmed He’s Playing The Villainous Ulysses Klaw In ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

We’ve known for some time that Andy Serkis would have at least a small part in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and many fans suspected he’d be playing the villainous Ulysses Klaw. Well, last night at the Empire Awards, Serkis finally, definitively confirmed who he was playing in the movie.

“Well, I think I can absolutely confirm it’s Ulysses Klaw now because I think the news is out. I sort of noticed that people on the red carpets sort of knew that I was Ulysses Klaw, so I thought ‘It must be out then.’ It was [a really minimal role], but I just loved doing it. It’s a great character.”

For those not keeping up with their funnybooks, Ulysses Klaw is a ex-Nazi physicist who has various sonic-wave based powers. He’s tangled with the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and others, but his main adversary is Black Panther.

So, could Serkis be returning for the upcoming Black Panther movie? Perhaps as the main villain?

“That, I know nothing about. I truly don’t know anything about that. I know that they’ve just announced the Black Panther movie, but I don’t know anything about it.”

I think Serkis knows more than he’s letting on. Excited about the prospect of Serkis possibly playing the villain in a Marvel movie? Without any CGI “makeup” no less? I certainly am.
