Tomorrowland is, of course, Disney’s big family-friendly action movie for May, filled with hope and optimism for the future. Which appeals to us as nerds, but Damon Lindelof’s credits gag, which will sadly never happen, would have been even better.
The gag, as covered by /Film, involves the one actor who’s crossed all of Disney’s various franchises and tentpoles: The BAMF himself, Samuel L. Jackson. Watch the video above because you need to hear the whole description. Suffice to say, it would have argued that all of Disney’s huge action movies have a shared universe.
Which they really should, if you think about it. Heck, Disney has an entire video game series based on this idea, so why not run with it? Okay, so there’s no reality in which Cap wouldn’t beat up Jack Sparrow, but honestly, I’d pay $12 to see that.
