Disney rolled out a surprise batch of character posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens through various social-media accounts this morning. Here we see Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) all wielding their weapon of choice. We put Han up top because HE SHOOTS FIRST.
Noticeably absent, of course, is Luke Skywalker. They’re still holding us in suspense about his fate. But we can’t even be mad about it. To reference something from yesterday, this is a movie we’d watch even if it were two hours of a monkey washing a cat. Scratch that, especially if it were two hours of a monkey washing a cat. Yes, Mister Tibbles, wash away all memories of the prequels.
