As you may have heard, Archie and the gang are returning to TV in Riverdale, a new series for The CW that promises a Twin Peaks-inspired look at the gritty, mysterious underbelly of small town America. Hopefully we finally get to find out why Pop Tate and Archie’s dad look exactly the same. That’s always weirded me out.
Archie Comics and The CW have previously revealed who will be playing Betty, Jughead, Archie, Cheryl Blossom and Josie, and now who’s going to be our new TV Veronica, Reggie, Moose and Dilton.

Veronica will be played by newcomer Camila Mendes. The new version of everybody’s favorite rich girl is described thusly…
“Veronica as a silver-tongued high school sophomore who returns to Riverdale from New York, eager to reinvent herself after a scandal involving her father.”
Hmmm, a scandal eh? Maybe Veronica isn’t so rich after all?
Meanwhile, Disney Channel vet Ross Butler will play Archie’s eternal rival Reggie, Cody Kearsley will play jock Moose and Daniel Yang will play Dilton. It seems like these guys aren’t important enough to get cool, edgy bios, which is a shame. I bet they could go some pretty dark places with Moose.
