Wonder Woman Details From ‘Batman V Superman’ Revealed By Brazilian Merchandise

We got a little excited when we spotted a description of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) printed on some Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice merchandise in Brazil, and not just because we want to lock down all Google searches on “Wonder Woman” + Brazilian.

The photo helps explain why the retired superhero who is more than 5,000 years old decided to return to our society. Wonderwomanbr took a photo of this Wonder Woman bust, and here’s what it says in the tiny print:

The world’s first and foremost female Super Hero, Wonder Woman at once embodies the unrivaled force and supreme grace of a born warrior, and the genuine compassion and understanding of a true humanitarian. As a symbol of equality, power, and truth, her natural confidence and unmistakable intelligence make her an unequaled, if unexpected, ally.

The immortal Amazonian Princess Diana keeps her eyes and ears open for intrigue as the beautiful and mysterious antiquities dealer, Diana Prince.

In other words, Wonder Woman has come back as an antiques dealer, which fits with a rumor from last year that she’s searching for a mystical weapon to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. That side plot would also help explain why her scenes have been mostly left out of the trailers; the promotion is staying focused on the main plot (Batman and Superman punching each other) while some of the reportedly great scenes of Wonder Woman “stealing the show” are being saved for later.

We’ll see if she finds what she’s looking for soon enough. Batman V Superman: I Thought She Was With You — we’re not going to stop calling it that — opens March 25, 2016.
