G4 has posted the final short film in their Epictober Film Festival, and it is awesome. The Birds of Anger is a Hitchcock-inspired take on Rovio’s “Angry Birds” starring Jaimie Alexander (who played Sif in Thor), Amanda Baker, and Cameron Barsanti. It was written and directed by Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead). If you missed them, the other two films in the series are The Hunt and Kart Driver.
The official synopsis goes, “The Bacons are visited by their next-door neighbor, Anne, who has brought them a lovely basket of eggs, but unfortunately, the birds want their eggs back.” I’m going to show this to everyone I know and say, “See? You see why I keep a loaded rifle flimsily propped up in my living room? I told you it was sensible.”
