The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was, I dunno, kind of depressing. Everyone pretty much expected it wasn’t going to be very good, but we all had to go anyways, and to nobody’s surprise it was, in fact, not very good. There was a certain grim inevitability about the whole enterprise. The movie was basically one really freakin’ fantastic scene with Gollum in the middle of two-hours and twenty minutes of fluff and filler.
So yeah, take it away Honest Trailer guys…
I can’t believe they didn’t mention the scene where the troll blows his nose on Bilbo. I have a high tolerance for childish humor, but Jesus.
Oh well — the next one’s going to have a dragon!

Yeah this pretty much sums up my feelings for the Hobbit. The 2nd one looks way better though.
I’ve never felt more like a sucker than when I spent 15 bucks to watch a man with bird shit in his beard in 3D.
