Keep Calm And Carry On was an unused propaganda poster made in 1939 meant to bolster the spirits of the British people in the event of a catastrophic Nazi attack. The poster became popular after a second hand book store discovered it in a box of books in 2000, placed it in their window and began selling copies. And then the Internet got a hold of it.
Keep Calm And has been a wildly popular macro image, particularly on Tumblr.
