Leonard Nimoy Retires From Acting…To Do More Nudes

It looks like Leonard Nimoy’s acting career has finally passed the final frontier, as the 79-year-old actor has told the Toronto Sun that he’ll be retiring from acting, including his roles as Really Old Spock in Star Trek and William Bell in Fringe. In fact, he says that he was only supposed to do a couple episodes of Fringe as a favor to J.J. Abrams anyway:

“I was away from acting for 12 years, so I guess I was seducable,” Nimoy says. “But since J.J. Abrams revived the Star Trek franchise, I felt I owed him something. And I’m glad I did it because he promised me a good story, and it was.”

So, what will Nimoy be doing with his spare time? Well, focusing on his photography…which is primarily nudes. (But then, who else would women trust with taking pictures of them in the buff than the dispassionate Spock? After all, he’s only dangerous every seven years.) Don’t worry, there aren’t any nude self-portraits, however he does have some shots of his craggy Vulcan mug in front of some of nekkid people, which is a little…off-putting and, dare I say it, illogical.

There’s a link to his NSFW photo galleries after the jump!
