Yup, according to the always-reliable TMZ, Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of Grand Theft Auto V because she thinks the vapid, fame-and-money hungry characters that populate Rockstar’s satiric version of Los Angeles resemble her too closely.
To be clear, Lindsay isn’t anywhere in the game, nor is there anyone in the game that particularly resembles her. TMZ speculates that maybe Lohan thinks the “girl with cell phone” used to promote the game looks like her, but Rockstar has specifically stated the art’s based on bikini model Shelby Welinder.
GTAV also has several missions in which you help a Hollywood starlet named Lacey Jones avoid the paparazzi, but the character isn’t specifically Lohan-esque. She’s a parody of an out-of-touch Hollywood actress, and Lohan is a walking parody, but that’s as far as it goes. Check out the evidence below…
