Janina Gavankar is a beautiful woman and a talented actress, and it was fun seeing her on Arrow, not least because it makes our dreams of a League/Arrow crossover all the more vivid. And tonight, she gets to deal with a guy who has perfect abs and isn’t a total douche for once. Which is good, because this episode might go either way from the plot summary.
The villain this go-round is a jewel thief named Dodger, who might be familiar to Team Arrow fans as he was introduced back in 2008. It’ll actually be a nice change of pace for this show from the usual villains, who tend to be a bit stabbier. Also, apparently the overarching plot will kick into high gear with this episode.
Elsewhere, Thea gets her purse stolen by… Roy Harper. Who is described as “very fast”. Well, if they stop calling her Speedy, that’ll be good.
Arrow gets his date interrupted and we snark his lack of smoothness starting tonight at 8pm EST.
