Only a few months until the new Tomb Raider hits! You know, the game everyone thought looked super rad until the game’s “let’s beat up on and maybe rape the pretty lady” theme was revealed at this year’s E3, and everyone got mad and/or uncomfortable. Haven’t heard or seen much of the game since then!
Well, it’s now or never time for promoting the game, so the makers of Tomb Raider have released the first of what will eventually be several “Guide to Survival” videos. The video details some of Tomb Raider’s mechanics, while making sure to emphasize that Lara Croft is smart, and resourceful and an independent lady who totally isn’t going to get raped, okay? She still moans a lot in the video, but now they’re mostly “I’m exerting myself destroying something or murdering somebody” moans. You know, the good kind. I guess?
