Damn, Sony seems to be intent on making all our most hopeless video game dreams come true this year. They kicked off their 2015 E3 press conference with the announcement that The Last Guardian is finally being finished and will be out in 2016, and now they’ve confirmed they’ve landed another huge white whale. Yes, Final Fantasy VII is finally being remade by most of the game’s original creators. No lame re-release like last year, no remastering, an honest to goodness remake.
