Plucked from obscurity to star in Star Was: The Force Awakens, Daisy Ridley is now one of the biggest celebrities in the world, and a lot of fans are wondering what the newly-minted mega-star is going to do for her next major project. Obviously, Episodes VIII and IX are on Ridley’s plate, but you can’t live on Star Wars alone. Well, it turns out Ridley’s going to do what most in-demand young actresses do – star in a YA novel adaptation for Lionsgate.

Variety is reporting that Ridley will co-star in the upcoming adaptation of the Chaos Walking trilogy from writer Patrick Ness. The series takes place in a world where most women have been killed by a virus, and all the male survivors can now read minds. The young male protagonist of the books is forced to flee his village, then stumbles upon a girl named Viola (presumably Ridley’s part) whose thoughts mysteriously can’t be read. The young adult adventures proceed from there.

Chaos Walking is set to be directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow), with Jamie Linden (We Are Marshall, Money Monster) taking responsibility for the script. Aside from Daisy Ridley, there’s no word yet on any other casting.

Chaos Walking is expected to go into production next year, for a 2018 release.
