The Bat Tumbler Is Now Real And Totally Street Legal

Honestly I’m surprised it took this long to happen, but finally somebody has gone and built a real, street legal (which, I assume, means it’s not allowed to drive on roofs) Bat Tumbler. Commissioned by a group from Saudi Arabia, the Tumbler cost a whopping 1.6 million to make, and will be racing in the not-terribly-badass sounding Gumball 3000 (basically a race for novelty supercars owned by the mega rich).

Hit the jump for a video of the Tumbler in action…

While it wasn’t moving too fast in that video, the Tumbler can supposedly reach speeds of up to 100mph. Well that does it — finally time to trade in my ’98 Honda Accord. I wonder if I can work out a 90-year payment plan.
