'The LEGO Movie' Has A Trailer And Everyone We Love Is In It

If you can’t wait till the Justice League movie to see Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman in the same film, there’s good news! The first trailer and poster are out now for Warner’s 3D animated The LEGO Movie (formerly called Lego: The Piece of Resistance). It’s written and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller of 21 Jump Street and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. If Will Arnett voicing LEGO Batman isn’t enough to pique your interest, I’m not sure we can be friends.

Chris Pratt (AKA Andy Dwyer) will voice the lead, a regular guy who’s been confused with the MasterBuilder and asked to save the world from President Business (voiced by Will Ferrell). Morgan Freeman is voicing the Vitruvius and Channing Tatum will voice Superman. Liam Neeson will voice President Business’ henchman, Bad Cop. He has a particular set of skills.

Awesomely, Nick Offerman (AKA Ron Swanson) will play a swaggering pirate seeking revenge on President Business. If that still isn’t enough of a “what god did I please?” cast, there are three more to mention. Alison Brie, Elizabeth Banks, and Anna Faris are voicing undisclosed characters, although we’ve heard Alison Brie’s character has “a powerful secret” and is close with Batman. Can her powerful secret be that she’s planning to buy a Shake Weight and make a life-affirming series of GIFs about it?

The LEGO Movie opens February 7th, 2014.
