This Year’s Xbox 360/PS3 ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Game Has Leaked (UPDATE: HQ Trailer Now Included)

The good ship Ubisoft has sprung yet another leak. A few months back we heard that there was actually going to be two Assassin’s Creed games this year. One for PS4/Xbox One and one for last gen consoles. Ubisoft has been eager to talk about Assassin’s Creed Unity, the game for current gen consoles, but that last-gen game has been kept tightly under wraps.

Until now that is! A trailer for the game, which is apparently called Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, leaked today. Based on the trailer it looks as if, unsurprisingly, Ubisoft is reusing the sailing-heavy engine of Assassin’s Creed IV for the game. The featured character also wields a sword with Templar insignia on it, so the rumors that this game will finally give the Templars their due may be panning out. The only other major thing to gleam from the trailer is that it looks like the series is moving from the Caribbean to colder climes again.

UPDATE: Ubisoft has said f-it and just gone and posted the trailer themselves…

We also have a release date — November 11th on PS3 and Xbox 360. So, anyone actually interested in one more Xbox 360/PS3 Assassin’s Creed?
