‘Uncharted 4’ Takes Us On A Tour Of Madagascar In Over 15 Minutes Of Must-See New Footage

So far, most of the footage we’ve seen of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has come from one, relatively narrow slice of the game – an extensive action scene/chase set in and around an urban environment. That footage was stunning, but what about a little variety? Well, with the release of Uncharted 4 drawing ever closer, Sony and Naughty Dog are giving fans a look at another slice of the game.

This time around, we see Nathan Drake, his brother Sam and Sully making their way around Madagascar in the most surefooted 4-by-4 in history. Naughty Dog head writer Neil Druckmann has said this Uncharted will make time for more low-key moments, and indeed, the first half of this footage is pretty laid back. Just three bros driving around Madagascar and looting ruins. Of course, eventually the bad guys show up and the sneaking, shooting and explosions begin.

Sony has also released a trailer for Uncharted 4‘s fancy pants Libertalia Collector’s Edition. The trailer contains some new footage, so it’s worth checking out…

There will also be a regular Special Edition, which will include everything in the Libertalia Edition except the Nathan Drake statue. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End swings onto shelves May 10.
