Gal Gadot Shows Off A Brand New Look As ‘Wonder Woman’ With This Colorful Comic-Con Poster

One of the few add-ons fans and critics enjoyed about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince, otherwise known as Wonder Woman. That’s good news for director Zack Snyder, who hopes Gadot’s performance in Justice League will recapture some of that spirit — though not before she attempts to do so on her own in next summer’s Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman. The film looks fantastic per what little we’ve seen so far, and with San Diego Comic-Con underway, Gadot offered her Twitter followers a glimpse of its first poster.

The 31-year-old actress called the movie “a dream come true,” adding she was “happy to finally share” the poster with everyone on social media. Along with a bottom caption containing the words “power,” “grace,” “wisdom” and “wonder,” the new poster highlights Gadot’s armored take on the traditional costume created by William Moulton Marston and H.G. Peter, complete with the golden Lasso of Truth. It even retains aspects of Lynda Carter’s outfit from the popular ’70s television series — and a really big, badass sword.

Gadot’s Prince stands front and center with little fanfare. The background consists simply of a blue, cloudy sky overlooking what appears to be orange smoke drifting above some kind of fire. The colors mirror the costume, though, providing a final note of “I see what you did there” to the overall look.
