World’s Largest Skateboard Wipeout

The World’s Largest Skateboard is 12.5 scale and awesomely dangerous.  It’s 3′ 7.5″ tall, 8′ 8″ wide, and 36′ 7″ long.  Bus-sized, basically.  And now there’s footage of it wiping out, which, let’s be honest, is the best reason to build a giant skateboard (yes, dawg, even better than riding a skateboard on a skateboard).

Normally The World’s Largest Skateboard is ridden by several people at one time, but recently California Skateparks CEO Joe Ciaglia decided to take it a for solo ride [Ed.- video below] while visiting Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania. [LaughingSquid]

Don’t worry.  No fourteen-year-old boys suffered traumatic testicular injuries.  This time.  But Joe did learn a valuable lesson about jumping from moving vehicles: get behind the back wheels of a giant skateboard before jumping off.  Dude almost became street pizza under those wheels.  So all of you readers keep that in mind next time you’re riding the giant skateboard you totally own. These are important things you need to know to survive in today’s fast-paced economy.
