Think you’ve got some mad gaming skills? Maybe you do, but can you beat your favorite games while blindfolded? It may sound impossible, but there are folks who get to know certain games so well, they can beat them without even looking at them.
Previously we showed you video of a guy beating Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! while blindfolded, but that’s nothing compared to the accomplishment of YouTuber Runnerguy2489, who managed to best The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time without his sight. It’s one thing to beat a simple, pattern-based game like Punch-Out, but Ocarina of Time is a huge, complex game that’s specifically designed to be tricky to navigate. I mean, I could barely get through the Water Temple with all my senses fully intact, and I know I’m not the only one.
Somehow though, over the course of 103 hours, using only sound and memory as his guide, our intrepid YouTuber managed to do the impossible. We can’t post his entire playthrough for obvious reasons, but you can check out him beating Ganondorf and attempting to escape his burning castle above.
