It may seem impossible in our little province of the Internet, but did you know there are people who don’t pay attention to sports? Like, at all? Some of those people are even famous, like Anderson Cooper — famous enough, at least, to appear on Celebrity Jeopardy! — and yet they’re unaware (some would say blissfully so) of other people bigger, faster and stronger than them who are also famous in other, more important walks of life like sports. Sure, we’re just joking around here, but seriously, get a load of this question on the aforementioned game show:

Now, there’s a difference between knowing the answer to the question, “Who is Cam Newton?” and using that question on a Jeopardy! answer (yes, it’s a very strange show when you think about it) about passing yards. After all, everyone at those podiums are hard-news reporters — ESPN is not on their TV, and Sports Twitter and Politics Twitter often leave each other alone (with some important exceptions, like Bomani Jones). But their sarcastic response after being told the answer leads us to believe that they don’t know who Cam is at all. Why, he’s the guy who dabs, of course!
Seriously though, we need to ask those people if they watched the Super Bowl, because Cam was kind of a big part of it — even though he might have been trapped under Von Miller the whole time.
