Dustin Diamond is back behind bars this week after reportedly violating his probation following his early release from a Wisconsin jail earlier this month, where he served three out of his four month sentence for his 2014 Christmas stabbing. Diamond was taken back into custody Wednesday evening by the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, inconveniently just one week after being interviewed by former Saved By the Bell costar Mario Lopez, in which he chalked the whole incident up to just a big old misunderstanding.
Details are still thin, but TMZ is reporting that the violation is somehow drug related, and that Diamond remains behind bars as of Thursday morning. We’ll be looking forward to see how he spins this latest setback in the continuing folly that is the life and times of Dustin Diamond.
