50 Cent is far from the firs to compare Kanye West and Donald Trump on national television. Bill Maher dubbed Trump the “White Kanye” earlier this year and plenty of people have noticed they have similar styles of tweeting and just managing the people in a room. Don’t forget their facial expressions either, ranging from stone faced bulldog that just got its testicles removed and an extra in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
50 Cent was on Conan to promote the latest season of Starz’s Power, but got roped into talking a bit about Kanye West’s pending run for the White House. He beats around the bush a bit at first, noting that it’s a lot of responsibility to be president and running for president is a lot different than actually winning the job.
Then finally, after a little bit of chatting, 50 Cent goes ahead says what most already know: there’s no difference between Donald Trump and Kanye West running for president. Both seem eager to pat themselves on the back for their accomplishments. Both seem to enjoy the idea of being president without actually talking about the work involved. And both seem to hate Taylor Swift — not verified, but I’ll say it.
If America is not ready for a Trump presidency, there’s no way we’re prepared for Kanye West and the Kardashians in The White House. It’s going to be one of those Idiocracy deals.
