Watch As Desiigner Takes On The Undead In His Nightmarish Video For ‘Zombie Walk’

Desiigner’s shown a flair for the creative throughout his short tenure in the music game and that streak continues with the release of his dramatic new video for “Zombie Walk.” In the clip, the rapper and his partner in rhyme King Savage find themselves trapped in a horror flick where they do battle with a relentless pack of zombies on the attack. The 10-minute video starts out innocently enough as we find Desiigner speeding en route to pick up Savage on their way to a party. But just like any good scary movie, he has unexpected car trouble, ends up hitching a ride and things go downhill completely from there after they end up under attack by ghouls.

The track originally appeared on his New English mixtape and the ghoulish new clip should boost the project back into playlists. Although they appear creepy here, “Zombie Walk” was actually inspired by King Savage and his relationship with Desiigner that extends well beyond the fame. Savage is a childhood friend who was born with a condition that caused the curvature of his joints. “He walks a little funny,” Desiigner told Genius. “So when I made the song, I was boosting his inspiration…I made that point. ‘Yo, we gonna make a song called ‘Zombie Walk.’ Don’t matter how you walk. Got no control. Gotta let it chopper. Let it blow.'”
