Drake Really Tested Kevin Durant’s Patience Last Night

Kevin Durant had no time for Drake’s fun and games on Wednesday.

For the new Warrior, the trip to Toronto to take on the Raptors was his first big road trip with the team and Durant was there strictly for business. What he came to find out was it also happened to be “Drake Night” at the arena and the team’s most famous ambassador was sitting courtside for the game, flashing his love for Doris Burke while heckling and harassing his good buddy KD throughout the night.

The Warriors ended up winning the contest 127-121 but, by the time the game was over, the superstar forward wasn’t in the mood for the shenanigans anymore. So when Drake bumped him while the former MVP was in the middle of his postgame interview, Durant gave the rapper a glare so hot it could’ve melted ice.

He regained his composure pretty quickly to finish up the interview, but didn’t mince words when ESPN’s Israel Guiterrez asked him about “Drake night” and their interactions throughout the night. “I don’t give a damn about no damn Drake night,” Durant quipped before walking off from the interview.

True, the two are supposedly pretty cool with each other and KD almost smiled while dropping the line, but it’s still plausible that he was over it all by that point.

Drake held his on postgame interview — because Canada — where he was asked about Durant’s relocation to the Bay. “I’m happy to see my friend happy” he said.
