Linkin Park Grabbed Stormzy And Pusha T For Their New Single ‘Good Goodbye’

Next month, on May 19, Linkin Park will unveil their seventh studio album titled One More Light. It’s the first major project from the alt-rockers in almost three years and is filled out by 10 brand new tracks. Among them is a song titled “Good Goodbye” which features a guest verse from both G.O.O.D. Music President Pusha T, as well as British grime sensation Stromzy which they finally unveiled on Thursday night.

This is actually the band’s second time collaborating with Pusha T. They first linked up back around 2013 for a total remix project of their album Recharged. Push delivered a verse on the song “I’ll Be Gone.”

This song mark’s the band’s first time working with Stormzy however, and based on a recent interview they gave to Box Plus, they were very stoked to get his contribution. “Right before we sent the record in to be finalized and kinda turn it in, we got Stormzy’s verse and it was dope, and it was like, ‘Okay, great!” lead singer Chester Bennington remembered. “We knew of Stormzy, that’s why we reached out to him. We like Stormzy and we think that he’s dope. Little did we know that he was about to take over the World.”
